The Simpson Strong-Tie I-Joist Hole Support (IHS) provides a safe, engineered solution for reinforcing I-joists where service penetrations—such as soil vent pipes (SVPs)—must be positioned near supports. This innovative system allows holes to be cut where normally prohibited, simplifying service runs and avoiding the need for extensive joist trimming.
