The Simpson Strong-Tie SAE380/99/2 is a heavy-duty face fix hanger engineered for structural timber connections where added strength and flexibility are essential. Suitable for a wide range of header materials—including timber, steel, masonry, and I-joists—this hanger offers secure, reliable support in both residential and commercial construction. It is the direct replacement for the SAE380/100 and includes enhanced compatibility for joists between 96mm and 100mm wide.

The hanger depth must be at least 60% of the supported member’s height unless additional top restraint is provided. Always use all specified fasteners and install in accordance with structural guidelines and local building codes. For masonry installations, use with approved chemical anchors and bolts. Not suitable for marine or corrosive environments without additional protection.
